Our island escape allows you to explore the vast ocean while diving, snorkelling, or fishing, head out on a gentle bike ride around the island, or indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment. This journey starts and ends in Mahé.

Arrive at Mahé International Airport, meet and greet from the Blue Safari ground team and transfer to your hotel in Mahé (if flight does not connect) or to the scheduled charter flight.

Connect with the scheduled charter flight (1 hour) to Alphonse. A 4-hour connecting time is required. Flights depart for Alphonse Island every Saturday and in season on a Wednesday (depending on the time of year). This itinerary works with a Wednesday arrival at Alphonse.

After a 7-night (or longer) stay fly from Alphonse Island back to Mahé for your onward connection home. These flights operate on a Saturday and Wednesday.
OR head further west and discover the even more remote islands of Astove and Cosmoledo.
In season (November to late April) 2 weekly flights connect Mahe-Alphonse-Astove on a Monday and Thursday. This itinerary works on a Monday connection to Astove.

Welcome to the immaculate ecosystem of Astove Atoll. The atoll holds a large inner lagoon, white sandy beaches, a plethora of bird and fish species, and the awe-inspiring ‘Astove Wall’ holds impressive sheer drop-offs which makes you feel like you’re staring down the Grand Canyon. The terrain varies from hostile shore breaks on the windward side, to flat calm coral flats on the outside and snow-white sand flats inside the lagoon. 

Every Monday and Wednesday when the flights arrive from Mahe via Alphonse, there is a short flight (15 minutes) connecting Astove to Cosmoledo.

Cosmoledo comprises a larger white sand lagoon surrounded by vast sand flats dotted with over 20 islands, islets, and cays of various shapes and sizes. Explore the atoll by kayak, stand up paddleboarding, or by foot across Wizard Island. Scuba dive the untouched and undiscovered reefs, or enjoy bluewater and fly fishing.

Depart from Cosmoledo for a short flight (15 minutes) to Astove.

Depart from Astove on your charter flight back to Mahé. This itinerary works with a Monday return connection.
