Thursday, 28 Sept:
Upon arriving into Antananarivo, you will be met by a Madagascar Classic Collection driver who will transfer you to your hotel (45 mins). On the 29th, you will head out with the guide to explore Tana and the Malagasy culture through a cooking tour.
28 – 30 Sept: Stay: Palissandre Hotel & Spa
Saturday, 30 Sept:
After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Andasibe (4 hrs) to learn about the history of the area with a local NGO, and walk through the forest by day and night in search of the many coveted lemur species.
30 Sept – 3 Oct: Stay: Eulophiella
Tuesday, 3 Oct:
After breakfast you will visit Lemur Island, a private reserve that protects many habituated lemurs. After lunch, you will return to Tana with your guide for another night in the city.
3 – 4 Oct: Stay: Nosy Manga
Wednesday, 4 Oct:
After a quick breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for your 90 min charter flight to Maroantsetra (TBA the day prior), followed by a 2 hr boat ride to Masoala. Explore the area via foot and canoe while watching out for lemurs, geckos, and more.
4 – 8 Oct: Stay: Masoala Forest Lodge
Sunday, 8 Oct:
Boat and fly back to Tana (TBA to be advised the day prior) in time for your onward flights to Johannesburg and then Cape Town. Flights to be booked by the agent:
4Z253 TNR – JNB (15:00 – 17:40)
4Z937 JNB – CPT (20:35 – 22:45)
Upon landing in Cape Town, a driver from Magnas Tours and Transfers will be ready to transfer you straight to Boschendal Farm.
8 – 9 Oct: Stay: Boschendal
Monday, 9 Oct:
Have a sleep in, check your emails, and explore the farm. Today is yours to enjoy some downtime.
9 – 12 Oct: Stay: Boschendal Farm
Thursday, 12 Oct:
There are no workshop plans for this day, so you can enjoy breakfast at your leisure and carry on with your onward travel arrangements. Check-out is at 10am.

It's just a short ride to Andasibe-Mantadia to search for chameleons, frogs, and lemurs, including the vocal Indri Lemur
