Wednesday 27 Sept:

Arrive at Maya Maya Airport in Brazzaville where you will be met by the Kamba team before heading on a 15 minute road transfer to the Radisson Blu. Settle in before heading out on the Sapeur Experience, ending with dinner at Mami Wata restaurant overlooking the mighty Congo River.

Thursday, 28 Sept:

A nurse will be at the hotel at 07:30 to administer the required PCR tests prior to heading to the camps. After the PCR test and breakfast, you will head out on a morning guided tour of Brazzaville, before heading off to the jungle!

Your charter flight operated by Kamba departs to Odzala at 13:00 and arrives at Mboko Airstrip at 15:00, where the Kamba team will be waiting to meet you and take you on the 2 – 3 hr open game drive transfer to Ngaga Camp. Meet the gorilla team in camp before exploring the forest and all who call it home over the next 2 days. 

28 Sept – 1 Oct: Stay: Ngaga – includes 2 gorilla treks

Sunday, 1 Oct:

Planes, trains, and automobiles! As you move from Ngaga Camp to Lango, you will traverse the Congo Basin first by game drive (2 hrs) from Ngaga to Mboko in time for lunch, followed by a 1 hour kayak, and finally a wet and wild walk along the Lekoli River and straight into Lango.

Spend 2 days exploring the baï, Lekoli River, and the surrounding areas by foot, immersing yourself in the exceptional and special flora and fauna.

Tuesday, 3 Oct:

Start the day right with an early morning walking safari, before jumping into the game vehicle to head back to Mboko.

Mboko is set along the winding Likeni River surrounded by savannas on all sides. Enjoy guided explorations by boat, foot, and kayak looking out for the unique species that call this are home, such as the forest elephants and buffalo, spotted hyenas, and the elusive Bongo.

5 Oct: Stay: Mboko

Thursday, 5 Oct:

Get ready to depart the Congo basin with a flight back to Brazzaville (09:00 – 11:00) followed by a 15 minute road transfer to Radisson Blu for a night in Brazzaville. Tonight you will head to Jaipur for your last dinner in the Republic of Congo.

Friday, 6 Oct:

Depart Brazzaville and fly to Johannesburg via Addis Ababa. Flights to be booked by the agent:

Saturday, 7 Oct:

Arrive at Johannesburg Airport and head on to East London Airport. Classic Portfolio will book the below flight on your behalf:

Upon arriving in East London, catch your private charter direct to Kwandwe Private Game Reserve where you will spend the next 2 days exploring the various biomes and wildlife across this stunning and exclusive Eastern Cape Reserve.

Monday, 9 Oct:

After breakfast and your final game drive, you’ll head to Port Elizabeth Airport by road transfer with Ilios (2.5 hrs) before flying to Cape Town Airport. Flight to be booked by the agent:
