Meet at Johannesburg Airport where Suzanne will be ready to take you on the 3.5 hour drive to Ant’s Nest, departing at 10:30am. Enjoy a top-notch horse-back safari through the Waterberg.
29 Sept – 1 Oct: Stay: Ant’s Nest
Sunday, 1 Oct:
After breakfast, Suzanne will lead the help again on the quick 1 hr road transfer to Marataba Camps. Enjoy 3 nights of abundant wildlife, incredible food, and the heart-stopping opportunity to get involved in a rhino intervention with the conservation team.
1 – 4 Oct: Stay: Marataba Founders
Wednesday, 4 Oct:
This morning you will head back to Johannesburg Airport (4 hrs), to connect with your flight to Port Elizabeth Airport. Flight to be booked by the agents:
FA360 JNB – PLZ (11:35 – 13:20)
Upon landing, you will be welcomed by a driver from Ilios Tours & Transfers who will then transfer you via road (2.5 hrs) to Kwandwe for an unforgettable safari inclusive of hands-on conservation work and spekboom planting.
4 – 7 Oct: Stay: Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge
Saturday, 7 Oct:
Head out with Ilios on your road transfer back to Port Elizabeth Airport to fly to Cape Town Airport. Flight to be booked by the agents:
FA131 PLZ – CPT (14:35 – 16:00)
From Cape Town Airport you will enjoy a scenic 45 min transfer to La Clé in the Franschhoek Valley, where you will be treated to 2 days of touring with Escape + Explore. On the evening of the 8, you’ll gather with the agents from the Seychelles & South Africa trip for a hosted dinner at La Clé.
7 – 9 Oct: Stay: La Clé and tour with Escape + Explore
Monday, 9 Oct:
After breakfast at La Clé, enjoy another half day outing with the Escape+Explore team before heading to Boschendal. Enjoy an afternoon of personal downtime.
9 – 12 Oct: Stay: Boschendal Farm
Thursday, 12 Oct:
There are no workshop plans for this day, so you can enjoy breakfast at your leisure and carry on with your onward travel arrangements. Check-out is at 10am.
