Friday, 29 Sept:

Fly to Mahé, where you will be met at the airport by a driver from Eden Bleu, who will take you on the 30 min transfer to the hotel. Enjoy your first night in the Seychelles getting ready to fully dive into island life.

Saturday, 30 Sept:

Eden Bleu will transfer you (30 mins) to the IDC Hangar at 9:00am for the 1-hr flight to Alphonse Island, for a week of exploration in and around one of the most pristine marine protected areas. Dig your toes in the sand, get your fill of fresh coconut water, and take part in the many activities on offer:

– Salt water fly fishing: try your hand at fishing along the immaculate marine flats (watch out for the sun)
– Scuba diving: certified divers can explore the underwater oasis and marine shelfs that make this one of the best dive sites on the planet
– IDC Conservation: take part in beach clean ups and other conservation initiatives
– Explore Alphonse: on bikes, paddle boards or by foot
– Explore the islands: head out to surrounding islands and discover a paradise for marine birds

30 Sept – 7 Oct: Stay: Alphonse Lodge

Saturday, 7 Oct:

After a week in paradise, you will fly back to the IDC Hanger from Alphonse Island (11:30 – 12:30), followed by a transfer to Eden Bleu for an additional night.  Get some rest and set your clock to be ready for a very early transfer to the Seychelles Airport.

7 Oct: Stay: Eden Bleu

Sunday, 8 Oct:

Depart Eden Bleu to the Seychelles Airport at 1:00am for your early flight with Kenya Airways to Nairobi Airport and on to Cape Town. Flights to be booked by the agents:

KQ259 SEZ – NBO (03:15 – 05:25)

KQ782 NBO – CPT (07:30 – 13:40)

Magnas Tours and Transfers will be waiting to take you on the 45 minute road transfer from Cape Town Airport to La Clé in Franschhoek. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon before gathering with the agents from the IMPACT South Africa trip for a hosted dinner at La Clé.

8 Oct: Stay: La Clé

Monday, 9 Oct:

Enjoy a morning in the village before heading to Boschendal.  Magnas Tours and Transfers will take you on the quick drive between locations. You will then have the afternoon for more personal downtime, or to explore the Boschendal Farm.

9 – 12 Oct: Stay: Boschendal Farm

Thursday, 12 Oct:

There are no workshop plans for this day, so you can enjoy breakfast at your leisure and carry on with your onward travel arrangements.  Check-out is at 10am.
