Thursday, 28 Sept:

Plan to be in Maun by 13:45 at the latest, so you will be ready to board your 40 min Helicopter Horizons flight into the Okavango Delta, for 4 nights of game drives, safari walks, mokoros (water permitting), and those amazing sunsets (which must be enjoyed with Beagle Expeditions own “Okavango Gin”).

28 Sept – 2 Oct: Stay: Beagle Expeditions

Monday, 2 Oct:

This morning, Helicopter Horizons will fly you to Cement Airstrip via helicopter (25 mins, time TBA the day prior), where you will then get on a fixed wing scheduled flight with MackAir to Kasane (time varies depending on number of stops). 

After going through passport control and changing planes, MackAir will continue onwards to Victoria Falls, where you will go through passport control once again, before carrying on to Camp Hwange.  Experience some of the best guiding Zimbabwe has to offer in this secluded part of the Hwange National Park.

2 – 5 Oct: Stay: Wild Expeditions: Camp Hwange

Thursday, 5 Oct:

MackAir will collect you from Giraffe Springs (time TBA the day prior), the airstrip nearest to Camp Hwange, and fly you to Fothergill. Surrounded by the stunning backdrop of Lake Kariba, no trip to Fothergill is complete without trying your hand at fishing, so get ready for some fun in sun trying to reel in the biggest catch of the day (to then be released of course)!

5 – 7 Oct: Stay: Fothergill

Saturday, 7 Oct:

MackAir will fly your final scheduled charter trip to Matetsi Victoria Falls where a driver will meet and take you on the 1 hour road transfer along the Zambezi River to the lodge for 2 nights of river views, delicious food, and of course a trip to 1 of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.

7 – 9 Oct: Stay: Matetsi Victoria Falls

Monday, 9 Oct:

After and early breakfast, Matetsi will take you on a road transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Cape Town. Flight to be booked by the agents:

KQ792 VFA – CPT (10:30 – 13:40)

Upon landing, a driver from Magnas Tours and Transfers will take you on the 1 hr transfer to Boschendal Farm. With nothing planned for this afternoon, you can enjoy some personal downtime on the Farm. 

9 – 12 Oct: Stay: Boschendal Farm

Thursday, 12 Oct: 

There are no workshop plans for this day, so you can enjoy breakfast at your leisure and carry on with your onward travel arrangements.  Check-out is at 10am.
