Head out on an adventure like no other. Spend 10 nights in the heart of the Congo rainforest, exploring the river & baïs, and of course, getting to witness the incredible majesty of the western lowland gorillas.
This trip starts and ends in Brazzaville.

Arrive at Maya Maya Airport (BZV) in Brazzaville.
Airport meet and greet and assistance through visa process (if required).

15 - 20 minute road transfer to Radisson Blu.

BRAZZAVILLE

Enjoy a 3 - 4 hour game viewer transfer from Mboko Airstrip to Ngaga Lodge.

NDZEHI CONCESSION

Ngaga Lodge

4 Nights

Nestled in the Ndzehi Concession near Odzala-Kokoua, Ngaga Camp is a hub for primate research and encounters. Surrounded by lush forest, the camp’s whimsical design evokes childhood treehouses, offering a unique atmosphere. Scientists Magdalena Bermejo and Germán Illera conduct gorilla research from this base camp, where three habituated gorilla families roam. Guests can track two of these families. The camp features six en-suite rooms nestled in the tree canopy, providing a magical retreat before embarking on gorilla tracking adventures.

After breakfast, depart on a 3 - 4 hour game viewer transfer to Mboko Lodge in time for lunch.

Kayak 30 – 40 minutes down the Lekoli River.

Time to get wet! Enjoy a 30 – 40 minute baï walk to Lango Lodge, just in time for sundowners.

ODZALA-KOKOUA NATIONAL PARK

Lango Lodge

3 NIGHTS

Perched on the edge of Lango Baï, Lango Lodge offers an exceptional African experience. With elevated platforms and six en-suite rooms overlooking the baï, guests witness the captivating gathering of green pigeons, African grey parrots, forest buffalo, and elephants. Guided walks through the baïs, forests, and elephant corridors provide immersive adventures with experienced guides.

40 minute game drive to the wetlands that lead to Mboko Lodge.

20 minute walk through the wetlands on a raised wooden walkway to the Lodge.

ODZALA-KOKOUA NATIONAL PARK

Mboko Lodge

3 Nights

Nestled amid grasslands, rivers, and forests, Mboko offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. As the closest camp to the private airstrip, it’s the heart of Congo Conservation Company’s operations. Guests can explore on foot, by vehicle, or by boat, enjoying walks, boat rides, and kayaking. The camp’s six en-suite rooms overlook a scenic river, providing a refreshing swimming spot.

15 minutes game viewer transfer to the Mboko Airstrip.

Fly from Mboko Airstrip (MBK) to Maya Maya International Airport (BZV).
Departure at 09:00 am | Arrival at 11:00 am.

Depending on the departure time, head on to your onward flight, or head back to Radisson Blu for an overnight or day use room.
